Inside Sales Customer Service Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative is responsible for making phone calls to CEO prospects in the Eastern Region who may be interested in learning more about Vistage membership. During their phone conversations, they will explain the value of Vistage membership, while also qualifying CEO prospects with the ultimate goal of having those prospects attend a local Vistage membership event to learn more about the benefits of becoming a new member and then joining.

  • Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative will assist all new Chair (CEO Coach) candidates through their entire new group launch lifecycle by assisting them in prospecting, recruiting, and building their CEO groups within a specific time frame (usually 6 months or less).
  • They will work with their new Chair candidates to identify and set strategic guidelines from which a new group can start in the shortest amount of time with the best qualified CEO candidates available in their city/ town of origin.
  • They will play a critical role in the sales process serving as a subject matter expert for new Chairs, Virtual Assistants (VA), delivering both strategic coaching and training for the new Chairs they partner with.
  • Their primary role is to contact CEO prospects and conduct Information Exchanges in order to first qualify them for attendance to a Vistage New Group Build event and then once having attended, follow up with their CEO prospects to have them join. As part of their “service efforts”, the Inside Sales & Recruitment Manager will then call all the new CEO members they sign up for new membership to make sure they are adequately on-boarded and communicated with throughout their Vistage membership tenure.
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in solution selling/relationship selling to high level clients
  • 3+ years experience with inside phone sales/ consulting.
  • Computer and data analysis proficiency
  • Strong communication skills with high energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented.
  • Able to engage top-level candidates (CEO, Key Executive, Owner) in conversations over the phone.
  • Attention to detail with a strong emphasis in delivering 1st class customer service to all members.
  • Strong understanding of SalesForce.com CRM (2+ years experience)
  • Works collaboratively with other team members to coordinate selling efforts and capitalize on sales opportunities.

    EDUCATION

  • College degree or equivalent business/work experience.
